These small brooch pieces are made of fimo soft, crystals are embedded into the brooches and pieces are painted or stained with Golden high flow fluid acrylics. I realised that these miniature artwork/ brooch piece would work well as a small wall piece with a detachable brooch so I designed a natural looking base using found sticks, a small piece of wood, copper wire and canvas to pin the brooch onto the piece and other small embellishments.

I love using the spiral as a symbol of life and the journey. Copper spirals are symbolic of the Goddess and nature as the wire spirals and wraps around the found branches that extend beyond the edges of the wooden base board. Copper leaf is used to add to the layers and embellish the image as the spiral motif is continued.
