SOLO EXHIBITION SPACE2B ARTSPACE:
BREATHE SEPTEMBER 2018
04 – 29th September 2018 – Space2B Art space Solo show.
Such an exciting event as we gathered to view art and celebrate at the opening launch on the 8th of September. This show has so much variety with over 35 paintings ranging from large to small pieces, owl sculptures and wearable art jewellery. The show is all about connection, beauty and finding that inner space. I do hope you get to visit before it is over. It has been a labour of love and I hope the energy of the space reflects this.
During the exhibition I will be facilitating 2 workshops. The SoulCollage® workshop is a lovely opportunity to begin your own personal guidance deck as you learn this enjoyable and easy process using collage techniques and intuitive writing. The second workshop is creating your own Spirit animal workshop. I believe that art is personal and we feel our way into our creations. Let me guide you as you connect with your spirit animal as I guide you through steps to create your own spirit animal art pieces.
National Brooch Show 2018
The National Brooch Show is an annual opportunity to showcase small art brooches. This year I have put in 4 pieces. Each piece is a unique one off piece of wearable art There will be lots of beautiful miniature art brooches to enjoy so enjoy exploring these miniature pieces. This is a Contemporary Art Society of Victoria exhibition and previous years entries can be viewed on their website. I am grateful for this show as it inspired me to create wearable art brooches that are unique miniature art pieces.

OCTOBER 2018 – JANUARY 2019
An exhibition of angels to guide you into the spirit of Christmas
Blessings is a exhibition of angels in a lovely café in Exhibition street Melbourne until mid January 2019. This was a lovely opportunity to hold the first solo show at Decoy café. The Contemporary Art Society of Victoria hold regular art showcases here that I have been involved in. I’m excited to be sharing angel blessings over the Christmas season.
RICHMOND LIBRARY INSTALLATION 2018
This is a mini solo showcase of my whimsical owls. I have developed a large range of pieces to fill this large display case at the entrance of Richmond Library. This is a Contemporary Art Society run opportunity for their members. All the art on show is for sale. I decided to make this a unique space filled with guiding owl wisdom. The installation includes one off wearable art brooches, small owl sculptures, mixed media paintings and small black ink pen drawings. It was so much fun to install and my little parliament of owls is very happy to be living in this space for the next three months.
It is a busy little installation but somehow fits the nature of these curious and wise creatures as they gaze at the world in wonder. They will make you smile and perhaps one of them will call you and find a new home. All art pieces are for sale through CAS – contemporary Art Society of Victoria.
Lots more time to enjoy a wander down Swan Street, enjoy the whimsical art and have lunch at one of the wonderful restaurants in Richmond.
