I just put in my entry form for the Contemporary Artists Society show: Art at Burnley Harbour. This time I am putting in my flower pieces. I have had so much fun playing with color and contrast and enjoying the abstract qualities that work so well when creating flower pieces. When I add clouds I always think of the Australian author Shaun Tan who often adds clouds into his work as a symbol of possibilities. I have taken this symbology as my own now as I love this way of looking at clouds as it reminds me that the world around me is full of possibilities.

The show at Burnley Harboui in Melbourne is an outdoor exhibit orang the Yarra bike path. It is held over 4 days from Thursday 3rd December until Sunday evening  on the 6th of December. It is a lovely opportunity for a summer outing. If you are a Melbourne local do treat yourself to viewing this exhibition by lots of talented artists around Melbourne…all the info is on the CAS website so follow the link.
