Experimenting with faces and animals. I am really happy with how these are evolving. I especially like the bear with the winged heart and pearls. An appropriate image for this protective mother symbol. All pieces have crystals embedded in them. I relate to the American Indian animal symbology where the bear is mother and protector, the wolf is guide and teacher and the owl is wisdom and intuition.
These pieces were made with Mont Marta polymer clay. Worked well and is reasonably firm to work with. It took half an hour at 150 degrees to fire.
