Exploring a world of animal guidance through intuitive mixed media art/

I am so excited to have been invited to exhibit at Lentil as Anything in Thornbury as part of the IFE Community facilitated by Ana Soares.
To me, art is all about those connections and finding those communities to share art stories that are about joyful connection and guidance is the perfect opportunity.
As I continue to create and grow as an artist I am realising that my art is better when it is in community. That is the space where it feels at home as these are pieces that speak from the heart.
The exhibition titled Sharing Stories: animal wisdom connections, is a mixed media exhibition exploring the nature and energy of animals and all the stories of wild wisdom they have to share. It is a reminder to pay attention to the world around us and to notice and wonder at the array of wise souls that share our beautiful earth. I wonder what animal calls to you and what messages resonate with your own stories.
My art is created to help you connect to joy and the spaces of your own inner wisdom. The exhibition will run from August 25th through until the end of October. During the two month exhibition, I will be offering several workshops to help you connect to your animal guides and create from a place of joy and play. As well as the exhibition, there will be an opportunity to purchase framable prints and cards. All square 21 x 21 cm prints are signed on the back and include information and a poem based on the image. Some wearable art necklaces and brooches will also be available. My desire is to make art affordable by creating unique art merchandise as well as original artworks so there is a range of prices. I believe that art is for everyone and that there is joy in surrounding ourselves with beautiful images that fill our hearts and help us find our balance. Art is a type of breathing space for the soul.
The exhibition will run for 2 months and during that time I will be offering workshops to help you connect to your animal guides and create from the heart using this a playful intuitive process. More information to come so watch this space.
The exhibition opens on Sunday, August 25th 2019 from 2-4 pm as one of the events at the monthly multicultural market. I encourage you to come early and celebrate the joy of art music and dance and food as you explore the array of products available on market day. Art is part of this active hub as people share quality multicultural products in a warm and welcoming space.
