This is one of the pieces that I started at the Tracy Verdugo workshop. She has moved so far from this beginning point. I am loving the paint markers but am finding the freedom of refillable brush pens is giving me a greater variety of line. The biggest difference in my paintings over the last few months is the variety of line work that flows through the pieces and helps unify them.
The sense of how to move forward in an artwork is simple. What areas do I love? How can I move the other areas of the art work to a similar place.
