The moment of transformation.
She is the dream and the dreamer….
Building layers is what gives my work it’s complexity. I want to explore all the levels needed to take my work to the space where it finally feels complete. So this is ‘Dreams’ it started as a colour background exploration where I kept adding until an image appeared. I have added a commercial butterfly stencil, my own original dancer stencil, serviette butterflies, drips and a transfer image for the text. The colours and layers have built to create a deeper image and I am finally happy to exhibit her. She is one of the works on paper for the Contemporary Artists Society of Victoria’s annual exhibition that is currently on at 306 Church St Richmond.
