This Wise Woman Rising jewellery piece was inspired by a group of women who have created a nurturing space for us to grow together in community. The inspiration of an image of us all reaching towards our joy together inspired this soul story, healing art jewellery piece.

The transparent layers hold the energy and joy within this piece as the copper leaf sparkles through. The piece hangs from a hand made copper loop that is a spiral connection to growth, learning and transformation. The chakra rainbow is the community connection as we learn and grow together. She is celebrating the connections and support that she feels around her as she reaches upwards in gratitude and is supported by the waves below.

Copper and symbols

I love working with copper wire and the earth connections and grounding energy it carries. Copper wire is symbolically linked to the Goddess Venus and carries this feminine energy. The beaten copper metal symbolizes the power of transformation. The alchemical symbol for copper is the same symbol that is used for the Goddess Venus and for women.

Copper is considered a feminine metal and used in the conducting of energy in our homes. Our bodies need copper and, our body does not produce it naturally. it needs to be taken in from external sources such as many foods that you eat, including beans, nuts, seeds and seafood(healing properties of copper are complementary and not meant to replace medical advice or treatment)

The lovely thing is that you can easily introduce copper to your body by wearing copper jewellery. It is said that wearing copper jewellery aids in the movement of energy within your body and is useful in soothing pains, headaches, and arthritis by stimulating circulation.

I have learnt to trust my heart as I explore creative ways of sharing through this intuitive process. These pieces can be worn with either side showing as there is no front or back. The spiral is a symbol for growth, transformation and learning. This is the spiral path that we follow as we reach for our desires. The layers of resin, colour and embellishments are the different aspects of ourselves and the details found along the way.

The process

The pendant/talisman is hand made through a layered process combining the beaten copper wire and layers of media moulded into shape and encased in resin. A 60cm ball chain means that the pendant rests over your heart chakra and helps you connect to this loving manifesting space within you.

This wearable piece, please treat it with love as it is weather resistant but not waterproof so please remove when you’re bathing or going swimming.
