Spring Joy

I was inspired to create a hummingbird but I decided I wanted something local so I decided to paint an Eastern Spinebill which is a species of Australian Honeyeaters. This beautiful small bird hovers in the same way as a hummingbird as it feeds.

These energetic little birds bring with them a sense of playfulness and joy. This painting titled ‘Spring Joy’ is about the energy of welcoming in Spring growth and renewal.
