It is about remembering how to fly…Butterflies have always inspired and delighted me with their beauty, movement and colour. Their freedom and playful flight invite something more and feel like an invitation to play.
This canvas painting is developed in layers with strong contrasting colours. Blue sky acrylic paint is laced with lines of flowing red with subtle lace of white pigment flowing through. The resin coating itself is layered with sections of solid resin flow that give a sense of the butterflies breaking free from the surface. Golden speckles of pigment shimmering through the layers as some areas are misted and partially seen as we are invited into their world of flow and movement.
These winged messengers dance around us and bring peace and light. Having butterflies in your home is an invitation to transform your space and fill it with the light and energy of the beauty of butterfly energy.
