ANGEL BLESSINGS
Over the next twelve days I will be adding Christmas angels to this post. Every day will be anew update until the Christmas arrives. I may add an occasional older angel but as much as possible they will be new with some re developed angels as well as evolve as I have changed and learnt along the way.. I will update names along the way and hope they inspire you and bring you blessings and joy. When art is fresh every day, I need to spend time with it to connect to the stories and name the pieces so expect this post to be organic and do come back and explore the progress along the way.

THE FIRST DAY OF CHRISTMAS
BLESSED
She is that gentle knowing that all we need is held within us as she symbolicly carries her home with her. She knows that life is a deep blessing and reminds us to listen to the guiding whispers of our intuition.
THE SECOND DAY OF CHRISTMAS
A few images of the progress of this graceful purple Angel and my daughters cat Nox being curious. She looks outwards and observes the world with love and a sense of easy confidence as flowers bloom around her.
THE THIRD DAY OF CHRISTMAS
Her steady gentle gaze upwards reminds us of the universal love that surrounds us and the blessings we carry in our hearts. She is gratitude and carries a deep dense of trust in her world.

THE FOURTH DAY OF CHRISTMAS
The fourth day is complete as I keep exploring possibilities and seeing what emerges. Today was a completion day and slow beginnings with surgery recovery.

A few dark lines and a change of background layers have added thecontrast needed to make this angel painting feel complete. Enjoying exploring all the possibilities these painting adventures hold. I have painted many angels over the years and feel like these angels are more joyful. Loving the challenge of posting one every day until Christmas as it encourages me to focus and complete.

THE SIXTH DAY OF CHRISTMAS
There are so many ways to explore angels that I feel like this adventure is endless. Each piece holds a totally different energy as they evolve and come through onto the canvas. Every day directs me to something new and every change losses and gains something as I keep moving towards what love. It is all about the process and the choice to look for love and do more of that. Even now I can see a change I will probably make tomorrow but it seems that nothing is ever finished until it finds its new home. Still don’t love the face on her so will probably revisit but will update if and when that happens. Always so much to learn and explore along the way. I do love everything else about this piece and all the layers that have evolved so she graces this page as one of my 12 angels.

THE SEVENTH DAY OF CHRISTMAS
Always guided felt like a reminder that we have this inner light that guides us as we move through the stages of our lives. It is easy to forget that we carry inside us a spark of creation and that we are souls guided on our journey. I love the guiding energy of angels and the guidance they carry as reminders of who we really are. We are all made of stardust and it is a choice to let ourselves shine.
THE EIGTH DAY OF CHRISTMAS
Today is day 8 and the angels continue to evolve. I have now got beginn8ngs for all of the angels up until Christmas Day. It is fitting my creative angel adventure around life, a funeral and Christmas celebrations. I finally feel as if I’m on track as I find my way forward and each completion on so many pieces. This angel definitely looks lost in thought with her bouquet and the gelato colour scheme. Almost a dream image.
THE NINTH DAY OF CHRISTMAS
What If… this angel carried me through a day of fair wells as we said goodbye to a friend. She gave so much joy and was blessed with a strong faith and the gift of music.
THE TENTH DAY OF CHRISTMAS
I am always in awe of the creative process and how it works best when I get put of my own way and trust my intuition. Every angel has taken me on an adventure that has often been a winding path as I create the image through the layers of paint, colour and various media and collage layers. Sometimes you can’t even see the collage after the layers have formed. Each layer builds the energy of the piece and unaeennareas impact the way the whole piece feels. This piece surprised me with the green and purple contrast. She feels like a deep blessing and healing. Green is the heart chakra and healing energy. Purple and gold are transformation and divine light that surrounds her. The background is vibrating with energy and dots are always possibilities and openings.
THE ELEVENTH DAY OF CHRISTMAS
I am happy to have reached Christmas Eve with one more angel to add. I know that really the twelve days are after Christmas but angels leading into Christmas Day just felt right. I still have more angels so I will start a new post. This is the longest I’ve ever done but I wanted to keep thwm all together in one special angel blessing post. Such an amazing personal journey and I keep learning and growing with each piece.
THE TWELFTH DAY OF CHRISTMAS
Christmas Day at last… a finally painting in this challenge but I still have a few more I want to add. I spent today with my husbands family. The thing I did differently was to take in another challenge. For 24 hours I was not to complain and it was hard and I know there were times I failed but it had an amazing impact. It meant that most times I was tempted to fall into patterns of ctlriticism that I found myself looking for the positive in the thing I was about to complain about. This was such a powerful way to shift back into a positive space that I will definitely use it again in my toolbox of ideas to bring find more joy.
