Today I completed the four works for the A4 Contemporary Artists Society of Vic exhibition (CAS). Like the Contemporary by Nature exhibition, it is one of many CAS exhibitions that I exhibit in throughout the year. The Contemporary by Nature show opens on Saturday 28th Feb  between 12 and 2 and is held on Herring Island which is a beautiful setting. The small island sits in the middle of the Yarra river and is only accessible by punt over summer or all year if you have a small boat. If you have never been there and live in Melbourne this is the perfect time to explore as this national parks island is a short walk covered in sculptures and natural bush. The old scout hall is the only building on the island and is used as a gallery for a series of summer festivals. The island only ones on weekends and public holidays during this time.

Below are the 2 small figurative pieces that I completed for the A4 open exhibition which opens on March 21.
