Revisiting and building layers.

I am developing a girl and white wolf series and have a mix of pieces in A3, A4 and A5 size. After developing so many wolf images I knew that I needed to rework this earlier piece. She now looks like an in entirely different painting. I am so much happier with the outcome and the variety of marks. It is always about the layers and learning through the journey. I have reworked the wolf, added stencilled layers, finger painting, washi tape and refined some shapes and allowed others to be less clear as they merge with the background. I am much happier with the final piece, the strength of contrast and the White dots help unify the image and connect the maiden and the wolf energetically.
