Art and wine are a perfect combination.
I had a lovely day yesterday at the opening of my group show at Vino Central. A lovely little wine bar in Ivanhoe on Melbourne with a gallery upstairs. I exhibited with my friends, Jo Lewis, Sarscha Lewis, Carole Moffat and Vanessa Montagna. It was a beautiful spring day with lots of friends gathering in a warm friendly space and we were surrounded by friends, family and art lovers. A perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
If you are a local, I would highly recommend this welcoming little drinking hole that has a unique feel and ambience. So if you are a Melbourne local please come and have a glass of wine in this lovely little wine bar and wander upstairs and explore the gallery and the variety of work that our small group of women have put together in ‘Gathering Visions’. I do love the idea of women as gathers and it perfectly suited the diversity of this body of work that portrays a coming together of our feminine perspectives on our individual worlds.
