Two nights ago I woke in the middle of the night, planning stamps or possibly stencils to use to build the background layers. Then I made my gum tree stamps.
Last night my waking dreams were about the collage pieces and how the layers would work together. I realised that I would need to cover an extra sheet of watercolour paper with similar layers so I would have the possibility of cut outs and extension sections. This all feels challenging as it is put side my canvas comfort zone but am enjoying the journey the learning is taking me on.
I may have said last night but it is actually 4 in the morning an the images were keeping me awake so hopefully the ideas have now been released and I can settle in for a couple of hours more sleep.
